Audit your feed with Bidbrain Feedchecker

The Feedchecker works 24/7 to make sure your feed meets Googles requirements.

Prerequisite 

  • ✅ You have Added a Store 
  • ✅ You have set the Store url and Country in the Store settings.
  • ✅ You have added a Feed to your store.

    Now that we know you have completed all of the steps above, let's start with checking the quality of your feed.

1. Go to Feed page 

In Bidbrain, click Feed in the left side menu or visit: https://bidbrain.com/console/campaign/feed

On the right hand side you can find your quality score. 
Clicking the feed opens a detailed view. 

2. Audit your feed result

We divide the checks into 3 sub groups: Info, Alerts and Warnings.

ℹ️ Is feed Ziped or not

ℹ️ Encoding: UTF 8 or ISO-8859-1

ℹ️ Format XML, CSV or TSV

ℹ️ Product count :  How many products are in the feed, big drops can be detected in the change column.

❗Non unique item ID: Having duplicated item IDs is a big problem, Google will only use one of each item ID so you want this to be 0

Missing image: Products missing image will not be displayed as Google Shopping ads

❗ Missing URL: Products missing link will not be displayed as Google Shopping ads

❗ Missing Price: Products missing price will not be displayed as Google Shopping ads

❗ Missing Title: Products missing title will not be displayed as Google Shopping ads

❗ Missing ID: Products missing ID will not be displayed as Google Shopping ads

⚠️ Missing Product Type: Product type is optional but highly recommended

⚠️ Missing Google Category: Google category is optional , Google will try to find the correct category for you but adding it manually is much better and is known to have impact on impression share.

⚠️ Unique Google Category: This displays the number of unique values for Google category in your feed, this is an indication that your categorization is detailed. 

⚠️ Unique Product Type: This displays the number of unique values for Product type in your feed, this is an indication that your categorization of product type is detailed.
